you can put a new one in yourself if it's the valve insert or you may have a puncture _________________ Lee |

A good commercial tyre place would likely do it for you - at a cost!!
You've got split rims though, right?, so - with a bit of effort once you've got the wheel off all you need do is let the air out totally then break the beading seal. Easiest way we found to do this with the Militants was to drive over the tyre - SLOWLY!! - then seperate the wheel halves, take out the rubber flap and extract the inner tube.
Be grateful it's not the sprung system the RL's use
Like Lee says - the valve, apart from the insert, is part of the tube so if you've a leak and it's not coming from the insert itself then odds are you've a puncture _________________ Neil.

The rubber flap is not a flap in the normal sense... it's a runflat bead about 50mm thick & a bastard to get out of the tyre & back in.. combat rims can be a bugger to split, I use a commercial tyre fitters & they are use to giant earth movers & excavtors but it took them almost 6 hours & a lot of swearing to do my Ferret tyres.. one took them almost 2 hours to split the rim, because the runflat bead is so thick there is no give in the side walls, which is what they are designed to do. They won't thank me when I drive up with the Fox & the new tyres for them to change.
Ferret Runflat Bead..
& don't put a standard tube in, make sure it's a proper RF tube..
New boots for the Fox..
Oh by the way if you can't find your valve stem you have a puncture, right JOHN that's the trouble with runflats it's hard to tell if there's any air in the tyres..
