just a reminder the bunker show is next weekend and some of the vehicles in the fort are attending so come and see them burning fuel in the proper manner http://www.essex-armour-softskins.co.uk/

You could always go on the Sunday instead - it's on over both days?????

Right now - I'm hoping the Landrover will get there - just taxed it today, going to need some fuel before we go though....
An I've had to leave it parked on the road tonight as contractors are laying a new drive for us....   And this is not the best place to leave odd vehicles out overnight...  Shocked   Shocked

i really wish i could but i have a meeting at the fort on sunday afternoon! its sooo drab lol but havea  good event and i hope the weather holds out for you guys

everyone needs a few guards for the beer tent! no one did that tongiht which is why im sooo tipsy lol. been at kieron and mels so its ok, we were all a bit merry i guess ha ha . suprised i can type lol!

Coalhouse Fort, East Tilbury, is run by volunteers and is always looking for new members to come along and help out. If you have a manual skill ie carpentry, painting or electrical etc or if you are just interested in historic buildings then drop us a line. Membership is £10 per year and will allow free entry to all open days. Wednesdays are work party day and you woyld be welcome to come along and help behind the scenes to help preserve Coalhouse Fort.
