Hi all,
received an e-mail regarding a truck for sale, thought i'd pass on the details to see if anyone is interested

It is Bedford OLBC 3 tonner Fuel Tanker, made 1939. built to military spec. It is partly stripped down and needs reassembling. It has never been taxed for road use.

The vehicle has been partly restored, the cab is in very good condition with no rust/rot,
the door bottoms have been rebuilt. The engine is stripped down and needs rebuilding, the gear box, PTO, windows and all other mechanical parts are present.

It has a tubular cage that fits over the cargo tank that a canvas camouflage sheet would go over.
The side hose boxes are complete with discharge hoses, condition as new.

It's stored and can be seen at High Roding near Chelmsford.

Price, unsure but want it to go to a good home.

If you have a manual skill ie carpentry, painting or electrical etc or if you are just interested in historic buildings then drop us a line. Membership is £10 per year and will allow free entry to all open days. Wednesdays are work party day and you woyld be welcome to come along and help behind the scenes to help preserve Coalhouse Fort.
